Folding Seat

A cut above the "Show Pleasure" or "Easy Entry" carts in styling and incorporates a different spring system.  Half elliptic attached crossways instead of 1 on each side which rides as well as a flexishaft Meadowbrook.  Seat deeper than our other two wheeled carts, but not as wide (28” long and 14” deep.   Comes standard with Stationary seat that doesn’t fold down but has 4 adjustable settings,   Although the cart is a little fancier than our other models, it is sturdy enough for everyday use on the trails and roads. 

The Spares box is standard.   Double bend shaft dip lower than standard shafts.  It is a bit higher than our Show Pleasure or Meadowbrook cart so it takes a smaller wheel.   Floor slats end around the axle.  Can’t add fenders or split seat – meant to be a side entry cart.  It weighs ~112 lbs before options.

The following options may be added if desired:

• Bedford cloth in grey or tan $150, tufted seat $250 (includes Bedford cloth), wooden dash $45, brass rein rail $75, chrome (over brass) rein rail $75, brass or chrome color whip socket $16, brass hubs $35 per pair, sleigh runners $145, brush cutters $75, and block brake $95.

• "Reversible" Option: 2 seats both Naugahide and Bedford cloth in gray or tan (like corduroy but not as heavy).  They are held in by a strap and buckle which look quite snazzy. The seat rest is made out of the Bedford cloth and a "cover" in naugahide is provided which is secured with velcro over the seatback: Add $150 for Bedford and $75 for reversible.  Tufting is an additional $100.

To place an order:

• I need 3 measurements:   Height of horse at the withers not at the first few hairs of the mane (to calculate wheel size), length (imagine board in front of chest and behind rump and measure that distance between the "boards"....not as if you were going around corners for a blanket) (to calculate shaft length) and a birds eye measurement looking down at the back at the widest part (for shaft width).  I use Minwax stains (see below).  You can choose any color.  The most popular is Early American or Golden Oak.   We apply a varnish over the stain.  The delivery is normally is approximately 1 month or less from the time I receive your payment.
